Thank you! Yes, man versus nature was a theme of yours that I noticed, along with folks seeking greener pastures only to have everything go totally wrong. When I read Moon in a Dead Eye by Pascal Garnier, much of it reminded me of your work. My wife, after reading it herself, said, unprompted, "This reminds me of T.C. Boyle" ! Peas in a pod.
