Again, if it was, my bad but since my new novel came out I've been being swamped with scammy instagram dm's from people posing as authors, who are not those authors.

Hey there, yeah glad I reached out as it seemed very suspicious. I don't know what she (or he perhaps) wanted. She wanted to know if I was an author, to which I replied yes, then they wanted to know how many books I'd published.

That's when I blocked and left you a comment.

Either they were looking to make another profile using a link to my amazon and pose as me, or it's some sort of scam where they might hit me up for money for some sort of fake promotion.

I honestly don't know. But like I said, since my new book came out I've been getting spammed hard on instagram by sketchy people.

I'll report it right now.
