Nice, Andrew. I don't know Robbins, but those three would be up there for me too, plus Mishima, Bowles (first place!), Mary Gaitskill, McEwan, and Martin Amis (and probably a few others)...?
Tom Robbins is more comedic, but his themes really reasonate with me. I haven't read Bowles (so I probably should). Amis and McEwan depend on the book and my mood.
Gotcha. I think Bowles would change your life…
