Follow up: re a TV mini-series based on Carnival in particular, that would be enormously difficult as each author controls their own film rights, and they have been optioned in different deals to many different studios, making a unified series nearly impossible. Nevertheless, there is interest in many of the RRP titles individually, so we will keep pushing for adaptations!
That makes 1000% sense. But it's wonderful to hear that there are deals for many of them!! I'll keep getting them in the hands of who I can. My African-American students especially appreciate Tristan Strong. So many series are African or African in America. This is the only one Ive found anywhere about specifically African-American. They feel so incredibly SEEN. I wish you and Mr. Mbalia could see it. Keep on keeping on. You're doing amazing work!!
