i need a third book!!! :)
Juliet, have you ever thought about Crowd Funding a third Wildwood book? Sarah Wilson recently did this successfully for a kids version of her 'I Quit Sugar' cookbook. Maybe everyone who backs the project, receives a copy of the book? Just an idea to plant in your head! :)
Hi Samantha. Yes, Crowd Funding has been suggested to me. I'm not sure I'm ready to jump into self-publishing at this point - I have a current contract with two mainstream publishers, one in the US and one in Australia, for the Blackthorn & Grim series, which will keep me busy for at least a couple more years. And I'm not quick enough at writing to juggle two projects at the same time. Also, my mainstream contracts provide me with an advance payment that covers my living expenses while I write the book, as well as the publisher funding the actual publication costs. Crowd Funding projects usually just cover the initial publication cost - they are not ideal for writers who rely on advances and royalties as their only income.
I really hope that we see a third book for the series. Whether it be now or far in the future, I'd definitely read it and love it!
Please write the third book! It shocks me that Cybele's Secret did not do as well as Wildwood Dancing, as I prefer it out of the two. It is now one of my favourites. :)
Please write a third book! The Wildwood series is my favourite and holds pride of place in my shelves! Sending prayers that the publisher comes to their senses
I just finished Cybele and took to the internet to see if there was supposed to be a third or at least a short story, because it did seem to be left open. Even though I struggled with Cybele for a bit, I hope something is able to be published. I want to see what was set to unfold.

Cybele's Secret was my favorite book! I haven't loved reading a book is so long, and this series reignited that love. I will definitely throw money at you (and your publisher) if we can get another Wildwood!
