I like to think of movie adaptations of books as separate pieces of art. Same concepts, different mediums! I love the book and the movie for different reasons... but I saw the movie first and the book was so different! If you liked Ella Enchanted, I recommend The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Levine as well!
