Emma Anderson I know it's not your fault, I was just told to like the book and see if it syncs with my profile. I didn't think it would work but I tried it and so far it hasn't. Anyway, thanks for replying and trying to help.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you deal with the marketing for your books? Evil Within is my first novel and I'm struggling to get word out about it, if you have any advise it would be much appreciated.

Emma Anderson Oh My Gosh, I just lost my whole answer. Okay take two.
Join Facebook groups and share your work through them.
Ask any of the authors you know that write for the same age group to host you on their blog and reciprocate. The authors audience will then be exposed to your book and blog.
Make sure you post at least twice a week on your blog.
Join any Facebook parties that are going on. As a guest or a host. Your name will get out there, especially if there are other authors joining in. Their audience will see your name.

Emma Anderson I decided to break up my answer so I didn't lose it again.
Join Manic Readers. They offer reviewers.
Ask for not only reviewers, but readers to review your work.
Don't be afraid to ask your fellow authors. I'm always here if you need help. If I can't answer your question, I can ask my more experienced author friends. I've only been published for a year, so I'm still trying to get my name out there as well. Good luck and don't be afraid to ask. You'll find most of the authors are more than happy to help.

Emma Anderson One more thing. If you get a bad review, don't get upset. Take from the review what you can, but also be aware that there are people who just aren't going to like your writing style. There are also people out there who just don't have anything nice to say.

Emma Anderson Thanks. At the moment my biggest struggle is getting my name out there and marketing my book. Promoting yourself or products is much harder than I thought it would be.
I appreciate the help and would love to read one of your books. I would also love for you to read and review mine if you don't mind. I can send you a free code for the ebook if you want? You can download it from the AuthorHouse website.

Emma Anderson I would love that, Emma. As for getting your name out there, I think that's one of the hardest things to do. There are a lot of indie authors out there. The market is overflowing with books, we all (indies included) seem to get lost. Let me know if I can help with anything and I'll do what I can. Just remember, make sure you join the groups that suit your genre. Good luck and you know where to find me if you need some help.

Emma Anderson Thanks, I appreciate all the help I can get. Oh and sorry I haven't replied for so long, I've been dealing with a lot these past few months and had to put everything on hold.
