Definitely read rest of poison study trilogy and then glass study trilogy first before reading Shadow study. You'll have a much firmer grasp on the characters and you just can't deprive yourself of the joy of getting to know Janco and Ari and their involvement in it all. You will love it!
I was just about to start shadow study. Thank you so much for the link to ice study I had missed that it was available :-)
