Richard Houlden It's no problem at all for asking, thank you for answering.
That's got to be pretty cool having Area 51 there and the local chit chat to help with your inspiration. Have to admit, I'm pretty jealous of it.
I'm a dreamer, so I day dream wild scenarios that start to take a life of their own and I know when I've got something when I start to question plausibility and it sticks. I'll also listen to soundtracks. Growing up, I heavily played the Halo games so I listen to a lot of their soundtracks to help refine any thoughts I have.

Don Vodka Whatever works, right? I like to listen to my headphones when I write. Either Top 40 (Miley, Coi Leray) or Johnny Mathis (weird, I know) or even just the sound of rainfall.

Richard Houlden Exactly that, as long as it all leads to inspiration then that's all that matters. And nothing weird about the choices!
