Steve An interesting new market for 'original material' is emerging with the competing content streaming providers (Netflix, Amazon, HBO...). These guys are finding that they can greatly reduce customer churn by creating sticky, series based content ('House of Cards', 'Game of Thrones" ...) that ultimately develops a loyal fan base. Preventing customer churn is HUGE for these guys... you might vector your agent toward the streaming side of the video media biz with a Vorkosiverse primer in hand and see if something sticks.

Lois Bujold I believe my agent's media rights subagent is actually involved with Game of Thrones, so I expect he's alive to the possibilities. It's still a buyer's market, and the Vorkosiverse is perhaps a bit quirky for the mainstream idea of what sells.

Steve Could be... I can't speak to what sells; sad that such a rich, multithreaded 'verse chock full of interesting characters and plot lines falls outside that set. Hell, they'd just screw it up anyway!

Polly Eostre Get Peter Dinklage to sign on as Miles and you'll be able to promise some eyes on it from the start. :)

Joella Berkner You're absolutely right Polly, Peter Dinklage has the perfect ability to give off the charm required for Miles.

Cmorganusjuno.Com Miles rescuing Taura would make a great movie. (funny, I always kinda thought of Micheal J Fox as Miles)

Michael Bernstein Falling Free would make a *great* feature-length film, and it could easily be live action with CGI for the lower set of hands...
