Thank you for checking! I will await to see what happens next.
Hi Keke,
So sorry for the long delay. My publisher has finally discovered, unfortunately, that the map illustrator holds the permission rights; neither the publisher nor I are legally able to do more than include the map in the books. But they hope the illustrator might be happy to help you: Springer Cartographics LLC is the name of the company. My publisher has already been in touch with them to sort this out so hopefully your request won't come to them out of the clear blue. Again, so sorry I'm not able to help. If you do reach out to them and they need anything from me in order to make this happen for you, please ask me another question here to let me know and I will be happy to get involved. Thanks again for reading! Best, Erika
Wow thank you so much for digging do deeply into this! Yes I will reach out to Springer and see how I can procure a copy. Thank you again!
Hello again! I've reached out to Springer but haven't had any responses to my emails. Would you happen to have a contact email I could reach out to?
Oh that's annoying. Absolutely. Let me find out who my publisher talked to. It might be that Springer would just give you a flat no or something (I don't know why they would, but...) and if so, I'll try to find that out too. Sorry. What a pain.
