Yes, it makes sense - especially since I'd started the previously-unread Scent of Magic just other day! I was very grateful for Valek's perspective and his past, so thank you for that, it was gift to us fans!

I really enjoyed the multiple perspectives. Especially Janco. Personally I can't get enough of Ari and Janco! Valeks backstory was intriguing and I can't wait to read the next installment.
