Oh man oh man! I'm so excited to read this news! I was just looking around to see if there was going to be a sequel.
Hello! I hope it isn't presumptuous of me to say this, and it looks like you're quite busy and possibly have a very small child (or two?) in the house, and I wouldn't want to demand that you create as I see fit or anything (Neil Gaiman has some strong words about that), but I had a sudden inspiration regarding this old convo. Maybe you could do a Kickstarter to finance the sequel(s), or do you have a Patreon I could subscribe to? Your work is always breathtaking and I'm still excited for the rest of this story, whenever it comes along!

Glad to hear there will be not one but...two...sequels? A trilogy? I hope so, and hooray! I really want to see Aksel's character arc. Thanks for taking the time to reply, and happy creating!
