Hi Tom, I'm only looking at my message now too... "The Covenant" sounds like my kind of read (I'm still a teenager at heart). Self-publishing is better than trad publishing in my experience; you have more control over the book and get royalties almost instantly. Trad publishing is OK if you're content to see people flicking through your book on the shop shelves. Also publishers still expect authors to do the marketing.
