just finished A Lonely Death.. sad ending with the "confession letter". I don't feel like he shouldve gone to his death with that guilt when clearly the man he killed was a horrible person and put him in a situation of kill or be killed. So if anything it was self defense, not murder. Yet he lived his life with guilt. That was sad. And, to have Rutledge on the "criminal" side when he was locked up as a suspicion for attempted murder. Good twist there.
