I also was stunned by the ending, I'm so glad you're working on a sequel!
I haven't read The Silent Girls yet but I was looking at the review on Audible and many mentioned a cliffhanger ending. So I went to Google to find out if there's another book out in the series. Glad to know it's being worked on - good luck.
Going back to Audible now to pick up The Silent Girls.

The Silent Girls was so compelling.... I loved Rath – such a likable real life guy...I was in NO way prepared for the ending; I just keep asking myself over and over "but what does that mean?!" Thrilled to see there IS a definitive answer to this question in my future – ordering right now !
