I was very pleased by your comments regarding Reginald Hill. Of course I never got to meet him, and would love to have done so, but I'm not surprised to learn that he was the kind of person you described. Of novelists from the second half of the 20th Century and later, he is far and away my favorite. I have for years been on a mission to get more of my friends to tread him. As you can see, I'm hopelessly verbose. Could I write you in care of a publisher to give you the option of a trash can and without littering this web site with my ramblings?
