Along with Steve Berry and James Rollins, Lee Child and Vince Flynn were several of the authors I enjoyed the most recently. I am sure you are aware of and have read James Rollins. I have yet to find another author who has as strong a female role as your Sam. I have found a number of authors who write with a style and perspective similar to the names we have discussed so far. I would encourage you to pick some books from Alex Lukeman, LT Ryan, Victor Methos, Nick Stephenson, and CG Cooper with Lukeman and Cooper being my #1 and #2 choices.
