J.A. Friedland I've gotten some support from local libraries, which have a budget to promote author readings in local newsprint. Those ads got me invited to do a local radio interview and from there I'm making a decent case to do readings at my best local bookstores. If those are successful, I'm hoping they will want to carry my book either on consignment or by simply ordering themselves.

David O'Neill Good idea! I hadn't thought about my local library at all. That is certainly worth a discussion at some point with them. Thanks.

J.A. Friedland I had a good experience at mine and have now scheduled two others at neighboring ones.
