That can be a problem... I don't even have a story in my head, nothing to write about. No genre. No characters. No setting. Nothing. In 3 years. I wrote something, only to get to page 14 and realise, I don't have a plot. Not even writing itself seems to be working for me
In that case, please don't beat yourself up about it. Is there something else you can do to distract yourself? Do lots of reading, or maybe do something artistic - do you like drawing, taking photographs, making things? Or watch your favourite TV shows? It's no good trying to force yourself to write if you don't feel like it. But you might suddenly feel inspired to write while you're thinking about something else entirely. But be kind to yourself, and do something you enjoy!
That's true. I guess forcing myself to write won't help at all. I like doing artistic things, but I lose my patience soon. I suck at painting, I'm worse than a 7 year old for drawing and painting, but I can always find something different... I actually wrote fan fiction and published it, and I planned to write one per month to keep wheels moving, but even that has stopped... Words stopped coming for that too
