This is regarding Marred. With Wings of Mayhem...this was an old story I revised. The original idea was I wanted to write about a cat burglar who robbed the wrong person. Hence, the logline.
In Cleaved, which releases this spring, I thought about the worst possible scenario that could happen to the characters, then built the story around it. That book was so emotionally draining to write. The story still haunts me.
