Bob McCauley I was a student of George Burt who composed the score for SECRET HONOR - and he screened it as a part of his film scoring class. I have never seen so much done with a single actor, single room, and for all intensive purposes a 75 minute monologue. George told the story of asking Philip Baker Hall about a particular moment in the days rushes and Phillip had to go back approximately 3 days worth of script, IN CHARACTER, to get to that moment. It was an incredible film, incredible script, and an indelible movie. Sadly, George Burt died March of this year. He was a great man, great teacher and I loved the class I took with him and my semester with him as a composition student. I would have loved to have studied just orchestration with him. Ah another unsung hero of the film world. Do go look for the film - especially if you are a Nixon buff...
