Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. Your writing has always spoken to me in that kind of indescribable way that good writing has. Now that you say it though, I think it is indeed the universality of the themes you address that appeals so much to me. To me, zombies are an investigation of anxiety because that is my main "struggle of being alive." To others it might be depression or autism or whatever other dark thing exists in their minds and souls. But Warm Bodies isn't just about the darkness, and I think this is why I love it so much. Being alive is a struggle, but it is not a futile one. Sometimes we all need a reminder of this, so thank you for making R, a zombie, so hopelessly, hopefully human.
