Thanks! I'll definitely use this advice as I continue my writing endeavors!
Agree with Jon with a big unless. If you are planning on self publishing or you have an in where you know you can get book read, I agree. If you are trying to go traditional route, you need to aim for a group, then explain over and over again why it's going to appeal to them. It is hard even to get read and majority of publishers, agents, etc want you to be targeting. They don't have time to figure that part for you.
