Thought so. I'm currently listening to THE DEEPEST LAKE and can't help but noticing the similarities. It's a fun audio book and I'm enjoying it thus far. Picturing a real writer's retreat on the shores of Lake Atitlan adds to the mystique in the book. I'm impressed enough with your book that I've added my name to the library queue of 36 people, waiting for WHAT BOYS LEARN. They say I will have to wait several months. If it's as good as the last one, the wait is well worth it. In the meantime, I'll try a few of your other books.
