I can understand the appeal of that setting. My latest novel "Fasciola: A Microbial Mystery" ends in Bolivia's Altiplano, and it's similarly compelling, especially to someone like me who grew up in the arid Southwest.
My TBR is growing faster than I can keep up (yes, I know it's a common "problem"), but I look forward to reading "Fasciola". Right now, I'm trying to get throw some of the Anthony Award nominees. Whew.
