That's a great explanation. I guess I wanted to see from a stupid protagonist POV because I wanted to see how a stupid but determined character can still achieve their goals and how their worldview is formed acknowledging their limitations and working with it. I guess I have read some examples of such characters in fantasy, where they are fixed in their thinking and know it and just work accordingly rather than adapt to their dynamic circumstances.
