Wow 1.d6 is certainly unscripted for the most part I've never seen those lines at all. Thanks for the amswer
There is in fact a good book on 1... d6, though it's not well known. I will try to post a review soon! Anand and Speelman have both had it in their repertoires for long periods, to name just two top players...
I'll definetly check out some of it's general themes but I'm afraid that, being a die hard french player, facing another central white strike with a one square pawn push would be uninspired at this point
