Next to Kelly, Zane is my favorite character from the C&R universe. Thank you for allowing him to rise above so he could become an amazing man. This darker version would have been so sad and hard to read.

I LOVE the "newer" version of Zane. You were absolutely right. Zane really was a phoenix, and I couldn't imagine him being in that final scene. You are brilliant! :-)
I’m just going to say what we’re all thinking: super thankful you took sole control of the writing of this series. This series saw me through a pretty dark time in my own life and if that was how it ended, with Zane killing himself I would have been crushed. You are an excellent writer and these characters are still my absolute favorite even after reading hundreds of books.
