And indeed they did grow! The series is now complete at 4 titles, THE PRINCE'S MAN, THE PRINCE'S SON, THE PRINCE'S PROTEGE, and THE PRINCE'S HEIR, but of course no story is ever complete. I am currently writing an origin story for one of the minor characters from book #1 (Betha}, who became a major player by book #3, and then I have a whole new series planned featuring the children of the original cast.
