Michael Bully Yes I think that introducing Amery into the book was a great device. A point of comparison to Sebastian as it were. The more revisionist line on Amery appeared in 'The Independent' feature 'Rear Window' : Amery, the Traitor whom Britain politely forgot' 12 February 1995
( It's online ! ) . Amery of course doesn't offer much in the way of courtroom drama suspense as he plead guilty and his trial on 28th November 1945 lasted eight minutes. Look forward to reading more of your work, am going for 'The Tortured Detective ' now . Best wishes.
