Shanti Also my book club members had a hard time with the contemporary/paranormal mesh in Kolson's book.

Shanti I hope you revisit Sabin and the others. I like paranormal stuff. It was a good storyline. I was eager for the follow up book. I wrote in a question format some other stuff about Kolson's book and why my bc girls did not like it as much as Kade and Kestrel. Sabin overshadowed Kolson and had more chemistry with the heroine in Kolson's book. But I would really love to read about the others

A.M. Hargrove When I wrote Kade's book I really wanted to test the paranormal/sci-fi waters again because that's where I wet my feet--only in the YA genre. So I came up with the alternative ending option for those who don't like PNR. I wanted Sabin to be strong enough to stand on his own because of the future book- hence his domineering persona. And I wanted his relationship with Juliette to be that of brother-sister. This book was polarizing- people either loved it or didn't. I won't go so far as to say they hated it because I never got any terrible reviews but it was the out of genre thing. However, for some people who never read that type of book before, some of them said they were intrigued.

A.M. Hargrove Oh and I can completely understand why bc members had a hard time. It was a crazy idea and in hindsight I probably should've pubbed it under a pen name. But I do love that Sabin and his Seven ;)
