Veach Glines I am not as happy as Jennifer with this explanation. Not only because I am still a reader who reads only paper books, but because I abhor learning from an accomplished author (of whom I have bought and read six titles) that he is not in control. That marketing and money are more important than art. That I am merely the dupe, the end user; expected to pay twice for Trickster if I want to continue reading the series 'for reasons only big-time publishers understand'.

I may be in the minority, in that I don't eBook and I don't like being reminded that money comes before creativity, but also that the people holding the purse-strings are completely in charge.
