Thanks so much for the comments, Geoff. Oddly enough, you won't bump into me anywhere like that, I'm not a gamer and really know nothing about that world. In fact I feel a bit of a fraud daring to include such online settings in my novel. I hope you also enjoy Ghosts. I'll let you know right now that the world setting is vastly different, although I believe (and hope) that the two books share a common quality of action and adventure :)

Going by the detail you offer concerning the virtual world, I fully expect that I could bump into you in Second Life. Come show me how to 'tune-up' my avatar.
Have you ever read "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson. What I find remarkable about his fun read was his ability to foresee the development of "Gamers", "Cyber Punk" and "Virtual World" way back in 1992.
