What is it you like about Cordwainer Smith and what stories of his do you like the best?
Re: Smith the voice and the vision. "The Balled of Lost C'Mell" is always a favorite, but "A Planet Named Shayol" is probably the most haunting.
NESFA Press has a complete collection of his short tales, and I believe Baen did some reprints a while back.
