Sounds great, but what do you recommend for writers who aren't blessed enough to have a dog and are unable to get one anytime soon?
I know exactly how you feel. There have been times when I haven't been lucky enough to own a dog. However, I still guess, my response probably isn't too much different. Whatever you do, there's no point trying to force it. At some time every writer gets stuck, that doesn’t make it any easier, and how you deal with it varies. Occasionally, I find talking things through with a friend/ family member, etc. often helps, even if it’s subconscious. There’s certainly no easy answer or quick fix. I also find leaving things for a while to read and immerse yourself in a great story can be the catalyst to write again. Just remember why you wanted to write in the first place, and it’ll always draw you back.
