Do you support a translator's translating the text and removing some parts from it for this kind of reasons?
If a translator has been hired to translate the text, s/he should do it as clearly and accurately as possible. If the translator objects to some passages for whatever reason, s/he should leave the project so the owner can find someone who will do the job properly. A translator is not hired to judge the text. There are a lot of artistic endeavors I don't like because they offend me, but unless they're intended to hurt a child, I would avoid them, not censor them. Some young people have committed suicide because their peers posted nasty, bullying comments online. That's a tragedy. It's important for parents and teachers to warn children about that possibility and intervene when necessary.
