Which one is your favourite from the Dragonridrs of Pern series. I love Menolly's story. And if I don't get a green at least a fire lizard would be good, right?

I admit I haven't finished Acorna's series but the rest I have loved too. It has inspired me to write to and I am glad to read you find her so inspiring :)

Right! I'd take a brood of fire lizards! I do love her story, but I was so fascinated by the idea of a permanent bond with a full-size dragon. I just couldn't get enough of those stories. I was very lonely at that time in my life, and I was drawn to the depth of that mental bond. It sparked my imagination, and it made me want to create beautiful places, too--to make people happy the way her stories made me happy. :)
