That's quite a reason and unique enough. I was 14 when I got the inspiration to write. I saw the movie Lawrence of Arabia and learned T.E. Lawrence wrote a book on his experiences (Seven Pillars of Wisdom), and was amazed over how someone could write a book of their experiences. That's when I picked up fiction writing. Have 3 out for now and am working on a WWII novel.
Great movie, and book. Good reason.
I'm working on my fourth, It has turned out to be a sequel to Six Minutes Early.
