The sequel doesn't have the delightful setting of having the diaries telling the protagonist who she is. But it is fun nevertheless.
On r/fantasy Rook is generally, but not universally preferred to Stiletto. Personally Rook easily made it on to my To Be Reread list, while Stiletto didn't. I just loved Myfanwy's (rhymes with Tifanny) mind in Rook.
I immediately re-read Rook, partly to see how the clues went out. I have not re-read Stiletto.
