Believe it! I did the same! I have just read 'Miss Appleby' for the fourth time and think it is the best of all the Godmother books so far with some really novel ideas and plot twists. Must admit I didn't bother to read 'Mr Kemp' because M/M stories are just not my style, I''m glad that the non-magical people react to the magical 'gifts' just the way you would expect them too, ie they think the girls are seriously weird. Please hurry and publish the next Garland book so I can see how some unfortunate Bow St Runner gets mixed up with the Baleful Godmother girls!

You'll be pleased to know that the Bow Street Runner book is out next week. Finally! It took rather a long time, what with the pandemic and an unexpected brush with cancer.
