M.N. Cox I agree - ask yourself 'why?' I usually don't quite know what I'm trying to do, or have some other problem that has me stuck. It's not always an easy fix mind you. I wish. :)

Janet Miles Happens in my crafting too. Sometimes I just have to walk away and when I come back I either notice something I didn't see before or I scrap the whole thing and start over.

Liquidlasagna one of the more insightful views i've seen!

I love the idea of having a little outline, as something to refer to when the writing process gets sludged up.

I've liked one person who i think, said it was okay to stop writing what you're working on, but if you got a bloc, just write something else, even if it's a few notes, funny things, diary entry.

Just don't shut down and stop writing, but find joy in just writing down 2-3 sentences.

It doesn't have to be your novel, or a essay for school... unles it's a scary deadline...
