Hello Gabriel and Lissa. I agree. Characters from books already written can sit in an author's head refusing to go away unless they are given a part in a new novel. Only then, fully rendered, do they take a hint and leave the author in peace. I wonder do painters have the same problem? Patrick
You've hit the nail on the head there, Patrick. They will not leave you until you've given them life. They remain with you, then, but less demandingly.
