Lissa Oliver #AsktheAuthor I would like to share Patrick's answer because I am learning a lot from his wisdom.

Caroline Maybe because I’m not a lifelong writer I don’t write everyday. I used to write letters to everyone-so maybe that counts. I’ve been writing books for seven years now but not everyday. I do think about plots, titles, extras, or poetry from time to time. I’ve worked in marketing to no avail. I’m not sad or depressed just planning my next venture or where I’d like to retire and what I’ll do. So I guess I’m not a true writer just true to myself. At 60 I don’t need more rules or restrictions in my life.

Lissa Oliver Caroline, you sound like a true writer to me and I love the expression "true to myself" which we all must be if we are to write the book we want to write. 90% of writing is done in the head, away from the pen or keyboard, and again I have to agree with your wisdom, writing is a freedom without rules or restrictions. Thank you for sharing your insights and how you work. #AsktheAuthor
