NOOOOOOOO!!! There must be another way. Me and my sister looooove this series! You didnt say that they said no forever just that they will pass on it for now. Please when you can KEEP TRYING!! We are looking forward to the day it comes out
Hi Victoria, is there any way that you would self publish the last book? I know that some authors opt to self publish from time to time, and with this being such a popular request..... One can hope!
@Victoria Scott I do not understand. Why would publishers reject the third book of Fire and Flood? We’re told it is because the previous books in the series did not have sufficient sales… However by the looks of it, the series practically has thousands of desperate fans begging for a proper ending. Why would they decline something in demand, but accept other novels that rarely get purchased at all, a third book? If I had known the series is forever incomplete and there’s nothing close to a satisfying ending, I would have never bought the books. I would never want to read something and grow so attached to it, and make it become one of my favourite books only to find out there’s no ending --I want a refund for my life!! I spent so many chapters crying, screaming, stressed for the Pandoras and Contenders. I’ve spent three years just anticipating for the notice that the publishers have accepted the third book. Although, I knew that in the end, it would be worth it. Surprize!! There is no ending. HAHA! SIKEE! Please take responsibility for the annihilation of everyone’s endeavor to find happiness. At least complete the ending of what will happen to Cody, Harper, Cotton, Olivia, Guy, Tella, the Pandoras and of course The Brimstone Bleed !! I need closure. Everyone does. I don’t mind waiting a little longer, but please, PLEASE, we NEED to have this ending, that I know will be absolutely spectacular and breath-taking.
Adding my voice to others... PLEASE finish the series! As a teen librarian, I've recommended to many, but I won't be able to continue if the series doesn't get finished. Also, I personally MUST have the 3rd book. Can I clean your car, your house, rub your feet? Whatever it takes! Thank you for writing a series with a heroine and adventure that are so captivating and relatable, that so many of us love.
Oh, this makes me so sad! I just finished the first one and can’t wait to start Salt & Stone, but now knowing there isn’t a final book I may just pass.... I don’t want to get more attached to the characters (and animals!) than I already am. I hope you can someday finish it!
