Gabriel Woods I am aware that members are very happy with the Irish Writer's Union's involvement with publishing contracts. I know that members have found the specialised advice on nearly all aspects of writing and publishing extremely helpful. I have received vital advice at crucial times from you Lissa and Conor Kostick and I am grateful for the assistance.

I always have the feeling that the commitee members of the Union are always there for me, and all members, in a way that fosters growth in authors not dependency.
The IWU encourages positive business relationships which the author may create for example publishers, wholesalers and more.
The The Irish Writers Union is accepting members now

Suzy Davies I love the idea of taking one's time. Quality is important.

Lissa Oliver I agree, Suzy. The biggest fault of new writers, completing their first book, is the rush to get it out there. Books are our babies, they shouldn't be pushed out of the nest until we're confident they're ready.
