That's very kind, thank you. Unfortunately my cancer has returned, but maybe third time's the charm? Anyway, I'm devoting most of my time and energy to healing, but I'm hoping that I'll feel well enough to write again sometime. Thank you so much for your very kind comment. <3

Best wishes for your recovery, Alex. I think of you often since learning about the recurrence. Your characters haunt me -- my house looks out over the Jemez, right toward Los Alamos, and Nick and Ian are often in my mind. It's as if their story lodged itself under my skin and became part of my psyche. Not many books have done to me that over the course of my life. You created something amazing and powerful.
