Thanks for the reply L. I had a feeling it was something like that. I also get the sense, that despite what Dag says they will never be completely destroyed. Would love to explore the rest of the world. The lands across the sea or in the west. Such a great world!

I've enjoyed creating my own backstory for those tales.
Not sure how it could turn into a story considering the long-term calamity it would end with.

Not going into details other than this: I figure the gods are memories of high-level aristocrats from the Lake Sorcerer society, not actual gods. Does leave the question of what the extra ingredient is in malices, though....
