lol Yes, I've decided to forgo the southern drawl entirely. The newer edition doesn't have any of that in it. I'm just waiting to update my paperback and I'll be go to go!
Oh really? Thank you I am honestly very flattered. I don't even know what to say. I really appreciate it.
I read hundreds of MM. Only a few give this feeling of literary stature---not that I need that in a love story. But it's impressive.
Glad you're taking the time to proof Vol. 1. The work deserves that extra effort. And to my mind, there's not much to do. Already outstanding.
Thank you. Honestly, that means a lot. Recently it's been an uphill battle trying to get my work out there but if I can reach at least one person then I am very pleased :)
Re: Goodreads M/M Romance Members’ Choice Awards 2018: I have nominated Thank You, Elvis under two categories: ”Best Dark Theme” (still pending routine moderation) and “Best Debut Book (moderator-approved). For nominee badges, please find link on this page: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I will remark here, because no other contact point is known: If there were only one edit allowed, I would choose to devise an alternate representation of the Southern drawl of "your" --I'm guessing that's what it is--which has been rendered (intermittently and to my mind distractingly) as "you are." If no other rendering seems satisfactory, it might be better just to forgo the representation of the drawl rather than confuse your readers. After all, there are other features of speech and narrative which serve remind the reader of a Deep South setting. Just my opinion FWIW.
