Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I love the books and have read them several times.
The way things are described in the foregoing answer aren't the way they turned out. The counterpoint story was edited out of Book III. BUT, I issued it in a slightly different form as a self-published novella, "Deadly Nightshade," which is available as a Kindle eBook on Amazon.
